19th Annual Hands Across the Valley Benefit July 24, 2012

July, 2012, Napa, CA -- The 19th Annual Hands Across the Valley will take place from 6:00 - 11:00pm on Saturday, August 11, 2012 at The Culinary Institute of America at Greystone, located at 2555 Main Street in St. Helena, California. Hands Across the Valley benefits safety-net food programs in Napa County, working toward the goal of a community without hunger. This year's event celebrates with a hot! hot! hot! Caribbean theme, with dancing to the music of the Pan Extasy Caribbean party band. The evening includes delicious food and incredible wine, featuring a stellar roster of the Napa Valley's wine and culinary stars. Participating wineries include Andretti Winery, Astrale e Terra, Black Stallion Winery, Buehler Vineyards, Crane Brothers, Dutch Henry Winery, Honig Winery, Mumm Napa, Paradigm Winery, Peju, Robert Mondavi Winery, Saddleback Cellars, Shafer Vineyards, Summers Winery, Truchard Vineyards, V. Sattui Winery, and ZD Wines, with beer provided by Markstein Beverage. Several of the Valley's top chefs and restaurants will also be on hand, incuding CDF Firemen's BBQ, Culinary Institute of America, Hurley's Restaurant, Mustards, Silverado Resort and Spa, V. Sattui Deli, Villa Corona and more, with the Culinary Institute of America providing the VIP Sponsors dinner. The Hands Across the Valley silent and live auctions provide the best in wine, food, travel and lifestyle lots, with Rely, Richard and Gina Pio Roda of the heralded Pio Roda family wielding the gavel. Tickets are $100 in advance and $125 at the door, subject to availability. VIP/Sponsor tickets are $250 and include the VIP sit-down dinner.
